We make our contribution in a socially responsible manner. How we do this?

Our corporate social responsibility focuses on People, Planet and Profit.

Inclusion: We have reached Tier 1 on the Social Entrepreneurship Performance Ladder (Prestatieladder Socialer Ondernemen (PSO)) and we are very proud of that! The independent assessment by a certifying agency shows that Attero provides employment opportunities for people with poor job prospects in a high-quality manner.
Safety: We make every effort to ensure that our customers and employees return home safely. We work safely or we do not work at all! With its strong safety culture and structure, Attero has become best-in-class in safety within the industry.
Customers: Customer satisfaction is our top priority. Our customers award us a score of 8.0, for which we are very grateful. Of course, there is always room for improvement. That is why we are always open to suggestions, questions and complaints.
Employees: Our company is characterised by low turnover of staff. After all, everyone wants to keep working at such a dynamic, innovative company with attractive employment conditions and enthusiastic colleagues. Attero also offers plenty of development opportunities, including an online learning environment.
Suppliers: We make good agreements with our suppliers. As part of our supply chain responsibility, we ask our suppliers to sign our Supplier Code of Conduct. Together with our suppliers, we collectively increase our impact.

Attero's mission is focused entirely on Planet. We process waste into new raw materials and renewable energy in a safe and clean way, contributing to the circular economy and energy transition and thereby helping to combat climate change.
We aim to realise 1 million tonnes of avoided CO₂ emissions by 2030. Every year, we publish our CO₂ footprint on our website so that everyone can follow our progress closely.

We strive to achieve healthy profits in order to continue investing in innovations and to realise good returns for our shareholders. Our shareholders – 3i and DWS – are infrastructure investment funds that enable institutional investors such as pension funds and insurance companies to continue to play their important role now and in the future.
