Raw material for biogas production

GreenFerm organic fertiliser consists mainly of solid fraction from manure. Because the composting process is relatively short, the organic matter content remains high. This makes the composted organic fertiliser very suitable as input for Biogas production facilities and can yield a considerable amount of biogas (up to 70 m2 per tonne). This makes GreenFerm organic fertiliser a very suitable raw material for these facilities.

GreenFerm is a manure processing company that processes slurry from calves, cattle, and pigs. The manure is separated into a solid and a liquid fraction. The liquid fraction is purified through nitrification and denitrification and then discharged. The solid fraction is composted in the company's own facility. During this process, the material is sanitised, making it suitable for export.
