GreenFerm was acquired by Attero in 2025 and is a manure processor that processes slurry from calves, cattle and pigs. The manure is separated into a thick and a thin fraction. The thin fraction is purified through nitrification and denitrification and then discharged. The thick fraction is composted in the company's own facility. During this process, the material is sanitised, making it suitable for export.
