Attero International is accelerating the transition to renewable energy. To strengthen our international team, we are looking for an experienced Biogas Technical Leader. In this role, you will play a key part in the development, implementation, and optimization of biogas and biomethane projects across Europe. You’ll operate with a high level of autonomy and work alongside colleagues who share your passion for innovation and sustainability.
Your responsibilities
As Biogas Technical Leader, you will play a key role in Attero International’s renewable energy strategy. You will lead the technical aspects of biogas and biomethane projects, ensuring that each initiative delivers both operational excellence and long-term value.
You will:
- Lead and support technical teams involved in biogas and biomethane development
- Evaluate advanced upgrading technologies and advise on their implementation
- Oversee the commissioning process and manage the performance of upgrading installations
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant environmental, safety, and technical regulations
- Identify opportunities for technical and commercial growth within our biogas portfolio
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align technical decisions with strategic goals
- Operate with a high level of autonomy in an international, cross-border environment
Your role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership ability, and forward-thinking.
Your profile
You are an experienced engineer with a passion for renewable energy and a clear focus on biogas and biomethane technologies. You enjoy working independently while also collaborating across teams and borders.
You bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience in engineering, including significant involvement in biogas or biomethane projects
- In-depth knowledge of upgrading technologies and operational processes
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess new technologies and development opportunities
- A good understanding of relevant environmental and technical regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- A proactive, self-starting mindset and willingness to travel internationally
